Whew! I started this back before making this account. It was going to be my new icon, but I got in over my head and it took forever to finish. x'D I'm not really happy with it. I still have NO idea how to animate the background. It's spinning all over the place. It's also really jerky. But I am not going back and adding inbetween frames. Too much work. >> I'm just happy that it's reached an acceptable state of completion.

Since I'm all too aware of the problems with this, I'm not going to ask for any critique. But if you have some specific advice on how to fix it, I welcome the help! For now it's as good as done.

** I think it was inspired by *khaosdog's animated icons ([link]). Which just goes to prove that simpler is better. =D Darn.

As for the subject matter, deserts and crows are important features of Klak Klak's backstory. :3 So I guess he's spending a little quality time with both.

I love Klak Klak's foot movements.. very ah.. canine-like? lol xD

XD I didn't either until I tried it. I just made a layer over everything and used a really soft, low-opacity brush to apply the "light", then used a soft eraser to get rid of it where the bodies were in the way. It made it look so much better. The characters really didn't fit into the background until I made it all glowy. >>

I love the background, I think the spinning creates a good effect :D The crow looks squishy xD

kudos to you for attempting something as delicate as this! I have issues with simple lip syncs.
