No idea what genre to put this in. The larger film would be drama. But this is kind of documentary... or comedy. Hm. O.o
I did this as an assignment for my Sound to Image animation class last year. I've since decided to give the whole story an overhaul which means this scene is being scrapped or redone, so I figured I might as well share it. Even as it is, it's incomplete. If I were finishing it I would color and shade the characters, add a music track, and probably touch up the effects.
The shot at the end is out of context, but I included it because it's related. I'm not sure if I can incorporate it into the final storyboards, but I'd like to keep that turn-around shot because I have a ton of ideas for how to redo it and make it work. But it's been a nightmare trying figure out because I don't really understand how to do smooth camera eases in After Effects.
Anyway! Just thought I'd show you what I've been up to. (Meant to do it earlier, but DA wasn't letting me upload movie files.)
@00:58If I could give you some advice, move the antilopes ear more. AS humans we donīt pay much attention to our ears but animals surely they do! Itīs impressive I must say, the real movements of the animal. I specially liked the backgrounds, what a gorgeous land! Haha I am romantic with landscapes. Beautiful camera movements too!!
